End of Summer Term Concert
A big well done to our junior choir and all the instrumentalists who performed in our end of summer term concert! Thank you also to the appreciative audience of families and friends assembled in the hall – your support at these events is really valued, as is your generous feedback afterwards.
In all, we had 49 children from years 2 – 6 taking part – a new record! The choir gave some beautiful performances of this term’s songs and the audience was also treated to a varied mix of wonderful instrumental solos and ensemble pieces. The event was a great showcase of the musical talent in our school and a testament to the many hours spent each week working with the children to ensure all the music is ready to be performed.
There will be a further opportunity to hear some of our singers and instrumentalists perform at De Bohun’s Exhibition Day on 10th July. In addition, our choir has been invited to sing at Enfield County School’s summer concert which takes place at 7pm, on Thursday 11th July (Enfield County Lower School Site). Do please come along to support the children if at all possible!
