Enfield Music Service (EMS) Piano Competition 2019
Details of this annual competition have just been announced. It has been a popular event over the years and pupils of De Bohun have previously taken part. If your child is playing at grade 2+ level then please do discuss with them the possibility of entering!
The final will take place on Tuesday 16th July, 7.30pm at The Dugdale Theatre, Thomas Hardy House, 39 London Road, Enfield EN2 6DS.
The categories in the competition will be:
Primary School Pupils Grades 2 and 3
Primary School Pupils Grade 4 and upwards
Secondary School Pupils
The winner of each category will receive a £50 prize and £100 prize for their school. There will also be a runner-up prize for each category.
The competition is open to all pupils regardless of whether they learn with an EMS tutor or take private lessons.
Entries must be received by Thursday 23rd May at the latest. Auditions will take place on 18th, 19th, 21st and 28th June.
