De Bohun Primary School prides itself on its community links. The school has a yearly Fun Day which is a community event and an enjoyable afternoon in our school grounds. The School Council, who are a group of children elected by their peers, meet regularly and discuss how to improve the school. Some of the things they have introduced include: acquiring more fun activities for wet play and golden time.
De Bohun has excellent links with schools in the local area, Year 5 & 6 Debating team of Sophia-Christine, Leo, Beverley and Joseph attended a Enfield Primary Debating Competition held at Bowes Primary School. The day was filled with action packed discussions and fun filled dialogue.
A group of girls from De Bohun went to the 2nd Annual International Women’s Day – STEM. The day was enriching as well as thought provoking and inspiring. This event gave children of De Bohun an opportunity to learn in depth about the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths and gave them opportunities to explore STEM related concepts as they develop a passion for it.
De Bohun Griffins took part in the EBS London Regional VEXiQ Next Level Robotics Competition held at East Barnet School. It was an electrifying and stimulating tournament our De Bohun pupils enjoyed very much!
