North London Festival of Music – Recorder Competition

Good luck to our year 5 and 6 recorder players Sava, Ellie, Tiana, James, Stephanie, Karol and Sabrina who are taking part in this annual competition this Monday evening, 29th April.  The children have put in many hours of practice since early in spring term to help ensure all their duets, trios and the quartet are polished and ready to perform.  They deserve every success!

Spring End of Term Concert

Congratulations to all involved in De Bohun’s end of spring term music concert.  It was a wonderful evening, reflecting the active musical life in our school, with performances by the junior choir plus flute, clarinet and recorder ensembles as well as many instrumental solos.  In total, 44 pupils drawn from years 2 – 6 performed at the concert.  All our hard work and many hours of practice and rehearsals were clearly evident.  Many thanks to families and friend for their support – it was fantastic to perform to a packed hall and appreciative audience!  Thank you also from Nightingale Cancer Trust as our retiring collection for them at the concert, so generously supported by the audience, raised a fantastic £52.72!
