On Tuesday 8th October, Year 2 children and teachers ( Mrs Perkinton, Mrs Bricknell and Miss D’Alessio) shared with their parents what we do in maths.
The afternoon was organised by Ms Edwards, the Math lead in DeBohun and Mr Warwick our very knowledgeable maths consultant who began the afternoon by explaining what we need to learn in Year 2 and how parents can help their children in a fun, practical and easily accessible way at home. Parents then spent an hour immersed in practical and challenging activities in the classrooms.
Parents who attended were rewarded with a pack of cards to play maths games at home!
