Some pupils from our robotics team attended a VEX robotics competition on Saturday 30th November at Queen Elizabeth’s School. We are getting better with in house competitions, one of our teams, placed 18th out of 28 Secondary School teams, which is a big achievement! The children certainly used their resilience and resourcefulness skills especially as they were up against many established secondary school teams. They worked as a group effectively and adapted to the environment efficiently. Most of all they had lots of fun!Read More

Semi-final day of this competition arrived on 26th November and our fantastic Year 5 team of Awezha, Ethan, Hanasa and Isaac, their speeches prepared and ready to go, travelled to Bowes Primary school to take part.
Immediately impressing the judges by being the only team speaking without scripts, our children rose superbly to the challenge, speaking clearly and with great conviction about their chosen subjects. Two members of our team, Awezha and Isaac, were chosen as finalists and they will now join competitors from Firs Farm, Chesterfield, Bowes, Grange Park and Wilbury Schools in the final round on Tuesday 10th December.Read More
