3LN Amazon Warehouse Trip

Today, 3LN spent the day at Amazon Warehouse in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. Pupils learned and watched the different stages of when a customer orders an item through the Amazon website. The delivery process involves processing, picking and packing. Pupils packed their own cardboard boxes with the help of the Amazon Tour Leaders.

Poetry Competition for Key Stage 2 pupils

Following on from National Poetry Day earlier this month we are encouraging pupils in junior classes to submit entries to a poetry writing competition being run locally by Barnet Borough Arts Council.  Competitions like this are a great opportunity to experiment and set yourself challenges in your writing.  Winning and commended poems will be published in a prize-winners’ anthology, plus 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be awarded!  Please do discuss this opportunity with your child and encourage them to participate.
